It’s hard to believe that the 30th anniversary of  The Princess Bride movie is shortly approaching.

Last year,   IDW created a beautiful coloring book to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Princess  Bride –  you can see my review of  the coloring book here.

Illustrator Rachel Curtis managed to capture the feel of  the well known and loved movie and the characters in that coloring book.    It’s no surprise that Rachel is able to translate the movie into coloring book form so well.   She grew up with the movie and  “quotes from the movie became part of her vocabulary ….she even has her very own Hello My Name Is Inigo Montoya Well

Rachel has been working hard again, to create another coloring book based on this movie,  fused with nostalgia and illustrations that colorists love to color.

In the The Princess Bride: As You Wish: Memorable Quotes to Color  you will find 80 pages to color in all in the same quality layout and presentation that IDW publishers are known for.         In this sequel you can   “Color your way through Inigo’s quest for vengeance, Buttercup’s painful choices, Humperdinck’s tomfoolery, and Wesley’s determined quest

The cover art shows that the publishers IDW are continuing the consistent theme of the look of the book with a cream background and gold foiling highlights.

The Princess Bride:  As You Wish is available for pre order from Amazon now and will be released 26 September 2017.

I can’t wait for September to check out The Princess Bride:  As You wish Coloring Book!

Happy coloring x

About the author

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
