Coloring Books – New Releases – May 2019

This post contains affiliate links you can use to purchase the product. If you buy a book using that link, I will receive a small commission. This does not affect the price that you pay. Your support is very much appreciated x

This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all coloring books being released. Bear in mind, that there are hundreds and hundreds of books being released every month. I cannot possibly keep up with all of them!

This list of new releases is only books that have taken my fancy, and that I think that you may like as well. Due to the high cost of postage for most readers, this list will usually not include International releases.

Many of these books I will be reviewing as part of my coloring book reviews.

Please also bear in mind that different countries often have different publication dates. Something may be released in the US earlier than in the UK or vice versa.

If you know of a new release that you think I may be interested in, leave a comment in the  area below

Let’s go …..

Beautiful Colour by Numbers Coloring Book

I love the ease of color by numbers books.   No thinking about color schemes and palettes or light source and shadows.   It’s all taken care of when you immerse yourself in a color by numbers project.   If you are ever feeling overwhelmed and anxious I can thoroughly recommend grabbing one of these style books for some quick relaxation.    This coloring book contains: “60 images will encourage readers to be creative and to develop their colouring skills. The artworks include landscapes, animals and flowers as well as intricate patterns and mandalas

Pugnocchio Coloring Book

Laurren Darr has a number of dog based coloring books on the market.   The cover art for Pugnocchio coloring book really appealed to me being whimsical and cute.  I do not have any of Laurren’s other coloring books so I’m taking a risk on what the artistic style is like with this book.  The sales copy states  “this story, adapted from the original idea of a wooden puppet who longs to become a real boy, is a fun and entertaining story for young children and a sweet bedtime read.”  There is no mention of how many illustrations there are to color in this book …but it certainly looks cute.

About the author

coloringqueen

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
