The Magical Christmas Colouring Book illustrated by Lizzie Mary Cullen

The Magical Christmas is the second adult colouring book illustrated by Lizzie Mary Cullen. The cover is card and has been partially printed with red and green and gold foil highlights. The remainder of the cover can be coloured. The inner cover folds out and the card can be colored in as well.

This is a great book to get you in the mood for the festive season. I think that the detailed images contained in this Christmas themed book might occupy you for more than one Christmas season.

The illustrations are all printed on good quality paper but the images are printed on both sides of the paper. Most of the images in the book are single images on each page (ie they are not a double page scene or spread). One thing that I really like about the book is that there appears to be more variety in complexity than in the artist’s previous book, The Magical City. There are a number of images that have larger areas of white space and less finer detail which will be good news for those with vision or motor skill impairments, or if you are like me and prefer larger spaces for markers.

You will find beautiful drawings of flowers, crackers, holly and close up views of Christmas trees decorated. You will also find the swirling, cities and buildings that the artist is known for sprinkled throughout.

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
