Doodle Fusion – Adult Coloring Book Review

Doodle Fusion – Zifflin’s Coloring Book is illustrated by Lei Melendres.    The book contains 50 pages of extreme  hand drawn doodles plus the cover page has included to color in as well.

Lei Melendres is a talented Phillipines based artist who compiles intricate doodles and designs for colorists.   The doodles in this book could you keep occupied for days if not weeks they are so complex.   This is not for the faint hearted or those that like to complete a picture quickly.

The cover of this book is vibrant and gives you an indication of how you could bring the black and white line drawings to life.

Illustrations

The illustrations are printed on single sided white paper.   The paper is thin so I would put a piece of card behind it.    This will prevent dents from pencils and bleed from markers.

The illustrations are clearly outlined in black with minute detail.

Lei Melendres is also known as Leight.  He is a freelance artist based in Manila. He describes his style as an “infinity mix” which is an intensity of details and elements interacting to form a scene.  I call it extreme doodling!

About the author

coloringqueen

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
