Animal Kingdom – A Colouring Book Adventure – Millie Marotta

Animal Kingdom is a beautifully illustrated book by Welsh artist, Millie Marotta.     The illustrations are extremely intricate and detailed.

This book comes with a lovely card cover that has foil embellishments on it.   You can color the cover in.     The inside of the cover also fold outs and is on card, waiting for you to color it in.       The illustrations are printed on double sides of the white paper.     The paper is quite good but not enough to withstand markers without bleed through.  Test your markers at the back of the book where there are some pages for your to create your own kingdom.

I really like the line work that Ms Marotta brings to her illustrations.  It is very fine and neat.

The other thing that is worth mentioning is value.      This book represents very good value for money in my opinion.    The book is stocked at local shops as well as online for a small price as far as colouring books go.   In my opinion, it represents excellent value with the amount of detailed drawings and the quality of the cover and the pages within.  I was pleasantly surprised, compared to some other books that I have purchased.

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
