This post contains affiliate links you can use to purchase the product. If you buy a book using that link, I will receive a small commission. This does not affect the price that you pay. Your support is very much appreciated x

This is not  intended to be an exhaustive list of all coloring books being released. Bear in mind, that there are hundreds and hundreds of books being released every month. I cannot possibly keep up with all of them!

This list of new releases is only books that have taken my fancy, and that I think that you may like as well. Due to the high cost of postage for most readers, this list will usually not include International releases.

Many of these books I will be reviewing as part of my coloring book reviews.

Please also bear in mind that different countries often have different publication dates. Something may be released in the US earlier than in the UK or vice versa.

If you know of a new release that you think I may be interested in leave a comment in the comments area below

Let’s go …..

Downton Abbey Coloring Book

Fans of the popular, historical based, tv series of Downtown Abbey can relive their favorite moments and color their favorite characters in the Downton Abbey Coloring Book.    As well as 96 illustrations depicting the scenes, fashions and characters from the show  “Each iconic image is accompanied by a witty, heartfelt, or amusing remark”.    It is unclear from the publisher’s blurb whether the illustrations are printed on single sided paper but it would appear from the “look inside” that that is the case.

Alien: The Coloring Book

Most readers would realise that this is not a coloring book that I would rush to buy 🙂  I’m too scared!  I know some of you are far braver than me though 🙂  The Official Alien coloring book does not have a publisher’s blurb, at the time of writing, but I do have some pictures below.

Winnie-the-Pooh: A Colouring Book

I  have such a soft spot for Winnie the Pooh!  How could you not want to color Paddington Bear, Piglet or Eeyore.   Like Beatrix Potter and Dr Seuss coloring books  these coloring books are so nostalgic and sentimental that it’s hard not to fall for them (at least for me!) This coloring book also features quotations from  A. A. Milne to help you wander down memory lane.

The Colouring Book of Cards and Envelopes: Fabulous Flowers and Perfect Patterns

I adore stationery!   Last year, I purchased the Christmas Colouring cards illustrated by Rebecca Jones from Nosy Crow.  Since then I’ve become obsessed with these card sets.      There are a number of different themes that you can choose from.    Each card is printed on lovely cardstock paper and has a matching envelope to color as well.     It is all topped off with a colorful printed sticker that matches each card in the book.    In total there are 24 different cards in the set to color which have been illustrated by Rachel Cloyne.

About the author

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
