Wildscapes – Adult Colouring Book – Stephanie Holm

Wildscapes is illustrated by Australian natural history expert and illustrator, Stephanie Holm.    She has a detailed knowledge of the natural landscape from her field work and studies and uses this in her illustrations.

The cover is card with shiny silver, blue and red highlights (not foil) which gives it a reflective quality.     The cover is not colorable.

All the illustrations in the book are printed on both sides of the white paper.    Some illustrations go across two pages which can cause difficulty to color in the spine of the book.    Many of the illustrations sit nicely centred on the one page.    The drawings are very detailed with a variety of reptiles, birds and wildlife.     Although, I am Australian I had trouble identifying a lot of the wildlife depicted in the book.  Thankfully, there is a field guide at the end of the book to make identification easy.

About the author

coloringqueen

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
