Prismacolor Premier 150 Unboxing

Format: Box

It was my birthday a few months ago.  My beloved always asks what I want for my birthday (sometimes he even remembers and buys it for me)!   This year I asked  him to get me the 150 Prismacolor Premier Coloring Pencils.     I had purchased a set of  36 earlier in the year but soon found my skills for blending colors to create new colors, shades and tints was seriously lacking.   The 150 Prismacolors would solve a lot of those problems for me.

The other reason I was keen on them was for a follow along of coloring that I was doing.    Well, you can guess what happened.   Every time, I followed along I didn’t have the right color.  I’d look at mine and try and get close …and then just end up ordering open stock.   By the time the open stock had arrived I had lost the mojo 🙁   I’m not a confident colorer and I’m still on my training wheels as far as coloring goes.   I did feel (and still hope) that these may impart a bit of magic to my efforts 🙂

Enjoy the unboxing video of the beautiful Prismacolors below:

Hubby always leaves things until the last minute.  I’m a planner.  He’s not.   The day before my Birthday he was making a mad dash around Sydney to find the pencils. Luckily, he finally found some. I had wanted him to purchase off Amazon. Even though we are located in Australia, it was actually cheaper, at that time, to buy them in the US and wait for them to arrive. He didn’t want to wait 🙂

As luck would have it, the day of my Birthday I was sick. I managed to crawl out of bed for a coffee but that was it. No cake, no interest in pencils and just beautiful sleep. Unfortunately, I was sick for two months.

For two months the poor little prismacolors remained in their box. The pink paper had been torn off and disposed of  and they just remained unloved and untouched in their box:)

Of course, they had plenty of company. They were sitting right up close to some of my favorite coloring books 🙂

Life, of course, always catches up with you and it was only the other day that I actually opened my Prismacolors and explored what was inside and played with them. They are so beautiful!

A review of these gorgeous pencils and others is on the cards, this is just an unboxing video to show and share with you the prettiness.

Happy coloring x

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.

  • What a lot of lovely colors, enjoy and Happy Belated Birthday. I am new to the coloring craze myself and your reviews and videos have made choosing my books much easier. Thanks! Eager to learn your opinion on the Faber Castell pencils. I have some on order and hoping I’ll like them.

    • Thank you Dee Dee! I have the FB Polys as well and they are beautiful! They are very well made and blend easily, depending on the paper. I am sure you are going to love them! Happy coloring x
