A stunning selection of pretty patterns for creative girls to colour in and complete. Girls can go bright and bold or subtle and sophisticated with splashes of colour to inspire them on every page. Filled with gorgeous flowers and butterflies, swirls, stars and much more, each pattern is waiting to be transformed into a masterpiece.

Pretty Patterns Colouring Book: Adult Colouring Book Review

Pretty Patterns is a cute colouring book illustrated by Beth Gunnell.

The book measures approximately 29.5 cm x 21 cm and has a card cover. The paper is very good quality. Throughout the book there is a partially colored double page spread that you could use as inspiration (or colour it!). You will then find just the line work over page for the double page spread that you can colour as you please.

The designs are all very cute. If you like cupcakes (yes please!), russian dolls, owls, teacups and cute animals you will get a kick out of this book. It may also be a good book to share with someone as you can both partially colour the same image.

The only drawback with this book is that the images are printed on both sides of the paper. This means that you lose part of an image should you wish to color the entire double page layout.

Some colorists may not like the simple images contained in the book. I’m actually a fan of simple designs. Not only do they give you a lot of opportunity to practice blending and the like but they can also just be a quick and easy color when you are not in the mood to get all artsy.

I’m Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I’m all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
