Percy and the Colouring Wonderland – Adult Coloring Book Review

Percy and the Colouring Wonderland is illustrated by Australian artist, Narelle Craven.

This is one of favourite books in my collection of adult colouring books.  I really appreciate the thought that has gone into the publication of this book.

The book is approximately 30cm x 20 cm and is spiral bound for easy removal of pages.

The paper quality is excellent being cardstock.

Illustrations

The introduction of the book has a large area of coloring your nameplate.   It is packed full of images of faces, people, animals and of course, Percy the penguin.     The book is interactive and you are in charge of finding Percy where he is hiding on each of the pages.    Thankfully, Percy is easy to find.     A percentage of the proceeds of sale of the book are donated to help penguins and other wildlife.  You will also discover the story behind Percy who is a real rather than imaginary character.

Percy then offers some coloring tips and a page to practice your colours and techniques on.    From then onwards it is time to buckle up and start coloring.   All of the illustrations have a name being Posie Blue, Big Red, Tea Pixie, peacock mandala, tick tock pelican, Frida fay, city dreamer, timid wallaby, clara’s wings, bus to wonderland, magic carpet, little fayette, penelope, feathered cap, barn owl, daisy chains, sunflower mandala, futura, aggie and eve, camo cat, ride with Sky & Spike, daisy do, rainforest charmer and marietta’s hat.  In total there are 25 illustrations to color including the practice piece at the start of the book.

About the author

coloringqueen

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
