Indie artists are the life blood of the coloring community. Look around the Facebook coloring groups that you may be a member of and you will find, every day, there are independent artists that are creating art work for you to color. It might be in the form of a free coloring page for you to color in. It may be a coloring book or a digital download of a coloring book that you can print out yourself. They may be giving out advice on how to color, sharing the beautiful pictures that are colored by you, or just being there and being part of the coloring community.
Being an indie artist is hard work and sadly it is for very little financial return. It can be frustrating, depressing, time consuming and, at times, heartbreaking to choose the life of an indie artist. Sometimes, we can forget how hard it is to create this work that we love so much. Sometimes, we forget that a simple “thank you” can really make someones day.
This month we’re celebrating our love of indie artists with some of my fave artists so that they know that we really love and appreciate all their hard work.
One of the nicest ways to say thank you to an artist is by enjoying their work and coloring and sharing it.

PRIZE
This month the prize is a DIGITAL/PDF version of a coloring book by the artist that you have selected to color a page from. You will need to have access to an email account to receive the book, a printer to print the book out and the paper that you would like it to be printed on.
There are a number of great reasons to have a digital version of a coloring book. You might be surprised that I have a number of digital coloring books (and some I even have a hard copy of as well). Even with my massive stash of coloring books, I find that pdf versions are very useful. Being able to print out a favorite page, multiple times, is a real advantage for me. Often, I make a mistake with color choices or an experiment has gone wrong and it’s great to be able to “do over” the page again. Plus, by being able to choose my own paper rather than that in a coloring book, I can print on watercolor paper and enjoy using different mediums.
A RANDOM winner will be selected using a randomizer program.
The winner will receive the DIGITAL/PDF BOOK PRIZE choice from the featured artist they selected to color.
The prize is not redeemable or transferable for cash or other products.
Your book prize will be purchased by me from the artist and emailed to you at an email address you provide. This is a digital/pdf book only and a physical copy will not be provided.
