Kimagure Through The Seasons Coloring Book Video Review
I hope you enjoyed the video review of Kimagure Through the Seasons Coloring Book. This is the second coloring book featuring Kimagure the cat illustrated by Miyuki Yoshizawa. You can see the first Kimagure Japanese Coloring Book review here.
Coloring Book Cover & Layout
A glossy colored dust jacket protects the book. The inside of the jacket features an orange background with cat faces on it. The gloss cover is great for repelling dirty hand prints.
The card cover of the book is matte and features the front cover art in a brownish ink. The back cover art features a cat only and not the entire scene on the back of the dust jacket.
Illustrations have been printed on both sides of the medium quality paper. The paper has a faint texture to it. Line art has been drawn in a medium to a fine line in a dull black.
If you have a minor visual impairment, you will find that most of the images have large elements on the page making it easy to see.
The artwork consists of an adorable tabby cat and his friends in charming scenes that depict the seasons. As well as the different types of cute cats in the book there are other elements to color including a variety of plants, buildings, food, and underwater scenes.
This Japanese coloring book has been divided into chapters depicting each season. This gives a range of scenes for the colorist including Halloween and Christmas style pictures.
The artwork in this book is simple, large spaced elements making it suitable for a range of colorists. Colorists that have advanced skills may choose to add more detail to the cats in the form of stripes, spots or textures.
This is a fun coloring book that has a charming appeal with the quirky scenes on each page.
