Illustrations by T – It’s Just A Flirt – Adult Coloring Book Review
It’s Just a Flirt is illustrated by Tamara van Wijk. Tamara has illustrated a number of coloring books for adults – including the gorgeous, Slinky Tart which we have reviewed previously.
The cover of this book is a lovely shade of pink with one of the illustrations in the book colored in. The girl in the image is holding a copic marker. The illustrations in It’s Just a Flirt are all presented on single sided paper. Each image takes the whole of the page. These are the sort of images that Copic markers are ideal for. Although they look simple, they are brought to life by a skilled colorist and some good markers. Any medium where you can do fine blending will work as well as the Copics but they are, in my opinion, easy to use. Fine blending and shading is really needed to bring the drawings to life. You can get inspiration for this by the completed colored images on the front and back cover.
The book is a soft cover and approximately 8.5 inches x 11 inches.
Inside you will find 20 gorgeous pin up style girls illustrated in Tamara’s distinctive style. Expect to find girls with big eyes and pouty lips in a variety of outfits and poses.
