My pick of the new coloring books releases for September 2020

This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all coloring books being released. Bear in mind, that there are hundreds and hundreds of books being released every month. I cannot possibly keep up with all of them!
This list of new releases is only books that have taken my fancy, and that I think that you may like as well. Due to the high cost of postage for most readers, this list will usually not include International releases.
Many of these books I will be reviewing as part of my coloring book reviews.
Please also bear in mind that different countries often have different publication dates. Something may be released in the US earlier than in the UK or vice versa.

Wondermorphia Coloring Book
The latest coloring book from Kerby Rosanes is a combination of his previous coloring books, Fantamorphia and Geomorphia.  The illustrations are printed on single sides only allowing greater opportunities for colorists to use a variety of mediums.  The coloring book does not contain any new illustrations from Kerby Rosanes.  You can see my review of Wondermorphia Coloring Book here.  Wondermorphia is currently available in Australia but is not yet released in other countries.

The Beauty of Horror 4: Creature Feature Colouring Book
Another coloring book in the BOH series of coloring books by Alan Robert.  This coloring book continues to feature Ghouliana and friends “….making their own monster movies .” You will find a “gang of zombies, werewolves, vampires, and other undead pals on a parade of parody as they recreate some of the scariest screams to ever hit the silver screen”. The interactive book has items to find as you work your way through the coloring book.

Beauty of the Far East: A Coloring Exploration
Sara Muzio has released a number of coloring books. Her latest coloring book promises “mandalas and Sanskrit symbols to masked performers and elaborate headgear…inspired by the culture of the Himalayas featuring … traditional Eastern settings including people, panoramas, architecture, clothing, and decorative elements.”

Creative Haven Autumn Inspirations Color by Number
Creative Haven produces coloring books that offer great value.  They feature a soft colored cover with single sided images printed on perforated pages.  This color by number coloring book features “46 rustic vistas and lush farmlands bursting with fall foliage as well as pumpkins, gourds, grazing cows, curious cats, and more”. The color key filled features the colors of autumn – oranges, yellows, reds, and other seasonal shades.  You can also choose your own color palette if you wish.

Creative Haven Mindfulness Coloring Book
 Jessica Mazurkiewicz has illustrated a number of coloring books for the Creative Haven brand.  In this book packed with pages, she has teamed up with Diane Pearl.   Instead of the usual 64 pages that Creative Haven produces for its coloring books this coloring book is over three times the size.  At the time of writing, little information is available about the coloring book.

Creative Haven Christmas Ornaments Coloring Book
Marty Noble has illustrated a number of coloring books for the Creative Haven brand.  This coloring book features “31 captivating illustrations of Christmas ornaments in all shapes and sizes. Each detailed design is filled with beautiful baubles emblazoned with angels, snowflakes, Santas, snowmen, bows, bells, and other merry motifs. ”

Stories of September: Coloring Book
This coloring book is a little different in that it features “a collection of sweet and sexy romance novellas from 10 best selling authors obsessed with falling in love. This adult coloring book is full of quotes from the collection and images for you to relax, unwind, and enjoy coloring”.  At the time of writing, the “look inside” feature was not available for me to check out this book closer. However, the back cover of the book is on display which features images from the book (if you can see the little itty bitty thumbnails). If you like romance and coloring ..this coloring book may be worth a look.  I am not sure, but I suspect due to the page count that the illustrations are printed on both sides of the paper.
