Charlie Brown Christmas Coloring Book Review
I admit that I’m just a big kid that loves all the sentimental things from childhood, Disney, Beatrix Potter, Trolls, Archie comics and of course Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Charlie Brown wrapping paper is right up my alley but I confess that I’m unlikely to wrap a gift in it. I don’t know that I could bear to part with it!

Cover & Layout
The glossy cover on this activity book fold out from all sides. The inner fold out flaps have lovely line art on them which has been included as wrapping paper designs. You could color these fold outs but as they are glossy you will need a gel pen or similar to penetrate that surface.
The Charlie Brown Coloring Activity book measures approximately 21cm x 24cm.
Layout
The book has been divided into two parts. On the left there is a color printed book, which includes perforated pages, filled with activities – word search, line art to create your own Christmas garland with all your favorites. The images are not die cut so you will need to carefully cut them out. There’s a dot to dot, maze, some ornaments to color and cut out (and on the reverse a beautiful colored double page spread of one of the wrapping paper designs). If you still need more to amuse yourself with there are some gift tags to color, a message to decode and a recipe for hot cocoa for those chilly nights. An answer key has also been included.
On the other side of the book the fold up flaps reveal 3 folded sheets of wrapping paper to color and an Advent Calendar all of which measure 18 in x 24 in.

Illustrations
This is a fun book full of simple images that both adults and children will enjoy. Colorists that are skilled in technique will be able to recreate an animated look similar to the cartoon series. Colorists that prefer to color solid will be able to replicate the look of the Peanut comic strip.
The line art is black, crisp and very easy to see making it suitable for colorists of all ages, skill levels and with visual or motor impairment. The paper is white and medium weight.
Although it is Christmas themed, some of the wrapping paper designs could be used as a Winter theme gift as well. My only reservation is that I am a little greedy and would have liked a little more wrapping paper or maybe a smaller size.
Even though it is marketed as wrapping paper, the art work is poster sized. If you are a true Peanuts fan you might want to turn the paper and iron the creases out. I usually do t his by laying some baking over the reverse side of the image and then iron over the baking paper with a warm iron.
