Aircooled Campervan Colouring Book Video Review
Kludoman has a number of campervan colouring books and I have reviewed one previously here. This is the first coloring book that I purchased from Kludoman, direct from his website where he sells it.
Cover & Layout
That vibrant cover really sells this book. A vintage VW decorated with flowers and patterns immediately makes me think of the 60’s and surfing and hippies.
This is a soft cover book with a glossy finish.
Most coloring books are orientated portrait style. However, this coloring book is orientated landscape style.
The Campervan Colouring Book measures 21cm x 29.8 cm (approximately 8.5 x 11.5 in)
Art work has been printed on both sides of the trade stock paper.
The images have been orientated in both portrait and landscape style.
Illustrations
The illustrations have a real hand drawn, sketchy feel to them. A dull black ink has been used for the images.
As indicated from the title, this book is all about campervans and celebrating your love for them.
You will find campervans as a backdrop for a beach weekend with friends, complete with surfboard and eskys (coolers) and palm trees. There are campervans in stacks, campervans as part of an advertisement to sell the artist’s album, battered and dented vans, parking lot scenes and traveling scenes.
The cover art has been reproduced in the book for you to color.
The book contains 3 “doodle your own design” in this outline and 1 “spot the difference” . The book in total contains 16 pages (32 pages of art work printed double sided) which is quite thin in comparison with my other coloring books.
If you have poor vision, you may find this style of art difficult to color. The hand drawn look can make it difficult to accurately distinguish the lines. The line weight varies in the book between a medium being used more often than a fine or heavier line.
