What's New

Buying Swedish Coloring Books just got cheaper!

As most readers know,  I am a huge fan of Swedish artists.   I think they must put something in the water in Sweden because they tend to breed great artists!   Not only do they have a wealth of talent in the coloring book market, but they also have luxurious publishing with hard  back covers and dreamy paper, is often a feature.

Most of the artists that readers will be familiar with like Hanna Karlzon,  Maria Trolle and Emelie Oberg are published through Pagina Forlag a Swedish publishing house and the company they are affiliated with Print Works.

When purchasing books from Sweden usually I have bought them from Pen Store.     Pen Store is an exceptional bookshop in Sweden that offers great customer service and fast delivery times.   However,  recently they have raised their shipping prices which has caused a lot of sad faces among colorists (me included).      My last shipping bill still freaks me out 🙁

The great news is that Print Works have stepped up to ensure that their books can be put in the hands of as many people as possible.    They have opened the Print Works Marketplace.     This online shopping portal is only relatively new and has some coloring books in stock, but not as many as I would like to see.   At the time of writing, favorites like Dagdrommar, Sommarnatt, Magisk Gryning,  Blomster Mandala, Vivi söker en vän and Sagolikt  were all available to purchase.     I am sure that they are stocking more as time progresses, as Maria Trolle advised on Facebook last week, that her new book would be available from there.

The best thing about Print Works opening this marketplace is the shipping cost and payment options.   One of the things that I like is that according to their shipping and payments page they accept PayPal!

The shipping costs are a significant saving,  if the book is being shipped within Sweden or Europe then shipping is FREE!  If the book is being shipped internationally, it is free if your order is above 50 Euro.   If your order is under 50 Euro then it is a flat rate of 12 Euro.    Looking at the site,  you would roughly need to purchase 3 coloring books in order to obtain the free shipping option, if that is what you wanted ot do.

You can check out the Print Works Marketplace here (they also sell other items as well as coloring books).

About the author

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
