Creative Colouring For Grown Ups – Glorious Gardens: Adult Colouring Book Review

Creative Colouring For Grown Ups – Glorious Gardens Colouring Book is published by Michael O’Mara.    This publishing house publishes a number of adult colouring books.

The cover is glossy card.  Inside you will find over 100 pages of  colouring pictures with a garden theme.      The book does not denote whether these images are hand drawn and I presume from my review that they are computer generated.      I do tend to place a higher value on hand drawn images as the artist has put their heart and soul quite often into the work.     That is not to say that I do not enjoy computer generated works and appreciate the skill involved, just that I value original art work more.

The paper is very good quality although I would test markers unobtrusively somewhere.

The images are varied and comprise those that you would expect in a garden like birds and various flowers.    There are also a few abstract type designs to break the cycle of a floralathon. The art work is well centred on the page and does not run to the spine making it easy to color all over.      Unfortunately, the images are printed on both sides of the paper.

The line work is good with crisp, black lines outlining each image.

The book offers great value with a multitude and variety of images for all skill levels.

About the author

coloringqueen

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
